The SOP marking/measurement posts are designed for surface marking of underground utility lines, and for above-ground placement of locating elements. A special frame, located under the upper part of the post, allows for mounting of the locating element, as well as for mounting additional measurement equipment. Each post consists of two parts, and can be equipped with a special lock, to prevent the post from being opened by unauthorized persons. For the posts designed for marking telecommunication cable lines, the top part of the post is orange in color, and is resistant to external factors.
