In the case of underground power networks, appropriate marking with warning tapes is of particular importance, due to the enormous risk to human life in the event of damaging a cable. Tapes for marking underground power networks are produced in two colors:

• BLUE for cables of rated voltage below 1 kV
• RED for cables of rated voltage above 1 kV

The color and thickness of tapes used for marking power networks is consistent with the current standards, and depends on the rated supply voltage. The materials used to produce these tapes ensure their highest quality and durability.

There is an option of customizing the tapes we produce to customer’s preference, by adding elements such as knurling patterns, perforations, custom prints, or by, say, impressing a lightning symbol. Impressing a lightning symbol on a blue tape carries a special meaning, as blue tapes are also used for marking water lines.
